ah, this is peeta in his not often seen but angry and emotional glory. peeta always seems very cool and collected but there is a moment in the 1st book when he is talking to katniss about his disgust for the captiol and how he hopes that while in the arena he can find some way to show the world that the capitol doesn't own him. This song is kind of an elaboration upon that theme. My wife the 1st time she heard this song commented that it sounds more like a song about Gale and I agree this isn't Peeta's mo and even in the book Katniss comments about how Peeta sounds like Gale in the scene. So I thought it was interesting that my wife had that kind of reaction. If you have that reaction too, then I think I did a pretty good job of writing the song. i hope you enjoy it.
